Account Manager (m/f/d) - Padova

This role drives and increases revenue and sales gross profit for a predefined customer base in a selected area, maintaines existing solid customer business relationships and builds new ones up.



  • Achieve sales, design and profitability goals for the assigned customer base
  • Visit customers on a regular basis to identify their needs and potentials in terms of products and service, DTAM, TAM, strategies, etc. 
  • Develop and maintain customer business plan for each assigned account and ensure alignment between customer requirements and AVA goals 
  • Inform customers on products and services offered by AVA providing them the best individual service
  • Identify new sales opportunities with potential customers, their DTAM and TAM, highlights and lowlights vs. competition 
  • Identify project opportunities in close cooperation with Product Specialists and suppliers to generate them into design wins 
  • Maximise sales opportunities and profitability for the assigned customers to achieve budget goals
  • Proactively participate to one on one business and design reviews with suppliers
  • Analyse customer needs and assisst with developing a strategy of how AVA products can be utilized
  • Cultivate and grow customer relationships
  • Support Sales Management and Legal department to negotiate new contracts with customers
  • Propose action plans to Sales Management
  • Work closely with Inside Sales for all customer related inquiries
  • Identify and solve customer problems
  • Provide local market and competition inputs to Sales Management to influence sales strategies
  • Maintain AVA project database
  • Attend AVA and suppliers meetings and trainings
  • Support promotional sales activities 


  • +3/5 years experience in sales of technical products, preferably within the electronics and component industry 
  • Engeneering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Strong customer relations skills and a proactive communication style 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team player 
  • Good verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work in a customer-driven and results oriented environment
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, flexible and motivated
