HR Advisor (m/f) Italy

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides support to management and employees of various business units in Italy
  • Works closely with local and international colleagues
  • Connects with internal customers to establish and maintain a high level of trust
  • Owns entire recruiting process from job advertisement to selection of candidates
  • Owns contract management including handling of contractual matters throughout the entire employment life cycle
  • Provides guidance and consulting on the application of company policies
  • Investigates performance or discipline related issues and makes recommendations
  • Provides assistance and recommendations to managers on coaching and counselling process and termination procedures
  • Conducts and documents exit interview process where required
  • Escalates labour law cases requiring legal advice to the Service Delivery Centre (SDC) Lead at the European Headquarters
  • Provides support to HR Business Partners and members of the Centre Of Expertise(COE) with specific initiatives or projects
  • Ensures proper maintenance of employee data in HRIS systems (SAP R/3 and Workday) and personnel files
  • May help with the preparation of payroll to be processed by external payroll providers, check payroll files and reconcile with Accounting
  • May compile monthly accruals for salaries and variable target bonus and provide the relevant journal voucher to Accounting
  • Calculates quarterly variable bonus achievements and actual bonus pay-out
  • Supports fiscal year end compensation planning process for assigned BU functions and supports regional/local execution
  • May deliver standardized HR related training and orientation programs
  • Participates in HR projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as HR Professional or related experience
  • Working knowledge of Italian employment law and compliance requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Fluent English
  • International mindset
  • Experience in working in virtual, international teams
  • Ability to communicate
  • High level of self-organization
  • Very good MS-Office knowledge (Excel, Word PowerPoint), knowledge of SAP and/or Workday is a plus
