Account Manager Poland (m/f/d)

This role is responsible for increasing revenue, sales gross profit and operating income for selected EMS customers in Poland. The Account Manager develops and maintains strong customer and supplier relationships and is involved in developing new customer opportunities in his or her assigned accounts. Ultimately the Account Manager delivers excellent customer satisfaction to its assigned customers.



  • Actively selling Avnet United products, services and solutions
  • Achieving billings, sales gross profit (SGP) for assigned customers
  • Regularly meeting with customers to identify projects, end customers, products, service needs and match it with our offerings
  • Providing best individual service to customers as well as information on our products and services
  • Developing and maintaining customer business plans for each assigned account and ensure alignment between customer requirements and company goals
  • Identifying new sales opportunities at prospective customers in line with Company Strategy
  • Enhancing and growing relationships at all levels of the account base
  • Cultivating relationships with Avnet's supplier base with an aim to maximize Avnet's market share within assigned accounts
  • Investigating and helping to resolve customer problems
  • Responsible for ensuring customers pay within agreed payment terms
  • Maintaining, tracking and updating respective Company opportunity management systems / databases if available
  • Attends Company and Supplier sponsored meetings and training to obtain updates on product information, customer opportunities, policy and procedure updates and technological trends
  • Working closely with Internal Sales and internal support functions
  • Working closely with other Avnet Operating Divisions to facilitate opportunities and coordinate on their behalf as Avnet with the assigned customer
  • Actioning all required reporting in a timely manner


  • Experienced in the sales of electronics required, preferably within the distribution industry
  • Holds a University or College degree in business management or logistics
  • Has a good understanding of sales processes and ability to quickly determine decision making processes insides the customer's organization
  • Can demonstrate the ability to present and communicate in a very professional manner at all levels of an organization
  • Is goal-oriented, self-driven, and -motivated, flexible
  • Possesses very good negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good product knowledge within the electronics industry is an advantage along with good knowledge of supply chain concepts
  • Has the ability to work in a customer-driven and results oriented environment
  • Works well as part of a team environment
  • Is fluent in Polish and proficient in English (verbally and in writing)
  • Possesses very good MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook)
  • Is willing to travel
